About the Author

About Tom Cromwell (barkingdigger)
FROM: ENGLAND - EAST ANGLIA, UNITED KINGDOM

A Yank living overseas on a long-term basis, I've been building tanks since the early '70s. I relish the challenges of older kits (remember when Tamiya was "new"?...) because I love to scratch-build.

Hi Al, You gonna post some of your pics of it too? (I grabbed mine mainly for the casting marks, and wished I'd got round the other side while it was parked up!) If I'd known who to look for I'd have walked over and said hello... Tom

I almost didn't stay to watch the arena! What drew me back to the fence was the announcer saying it was apparently the only M4A4 in the world that is still in running order. After that I just had to see it in action... Tom

Hi Tom, It is a great day out. I missed the drive round of the tracked vehicles, too busy taking pictures, talking to folks and looking in the modelling tent Al
