This Jason's my recently finished M1128 MGS. Eduard and Voyager's PE parts and DEF resin wheels were used to add some detail. Some details were scracthbuilt with plastic sheets. It is airbrushed with Vallejo's NATO green surface primer, while detail painting was done with brushes using Tamiya acrylics.

Great conversion, nice done. What kind of PE parts did you use for the A/C unit? The PE parts are the only obstacle for me to do a build myself.
P.S. If you want to add bumper codes, I saw an MGS over here from 2nd SCR that has the bumper code 4/2 CAV W-41

Hi Hermann
The PEs for the fan cover are from the rear AC units of MENG's M2A3s, they are a little bit oversized, but they are the closest thing i can get.

I guess scratchbuilt element is a "Driver Enhancement Kit"

Hi Jason,
didn`t came up with the idea of using the Meng Bradley parts.
Now I can build on MGS after finishing another HMMWV kit.

Never saw one with those A/C units mounted. Was that an OIF modification or are they been fielded currently? They look pretty susceptible to getting ripped off while driving in urban areas / woods.

The A/C unit is a more recent addition post-OIF. There were issues with the on-board computers overheating in the hot desert environs. They are being added to all Stryker variants.
