Datsun Pickup Truck

  • move
Klaus Eberl has sent us some images of his 1/32nd scale Revell of Germany Datsun Pickup Truck. I was going to publish this on Auto Modeller, but this seems to be finished in a way that the armour modellers would want to see it. This model was built using the old 1981 Revell snap tite kit in 1/32nd scale and just goes to show that old does not mean dead. Small modifications have been made to the model via scratch work, mainly lowering suspension and adding Meng vinyl wheels and mirrors. The cargo used are bits and pieces from Meng and Tamiya. The model has been finished with Testors enamels, K4, Ammo of Mig acrylics and weathering products.

Nice work, I really like the work on the cargo and tires in the bed of the truck. The suspension and undercarriage work is also top notch.
