Kubelwagen Conference

  • move
This is my diorama depicting a conference amongst Panzer and SPG crews along the Seine River following the disaster of Falaise. The severe losses have prompted a mixture of panzer and SPG crews due to losses and shortages. The Stug commander is wearing a panzer uniform. The conference at the Kubelwagen is discussing the positioning of the Stug behind the damaged wall. There is a serious discussion about the defence, as is indicated in the debate around the Kubelwagen. Another Stug member is collecting foliage for camouflage of the Stug.

The figures are from Dragon and Miniart. The Stug is from Dragon and the VW is from the Tamiya kit. The wall is from a resin set. The rest is scratch. I used Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics for the figures.

Nice work. My only question is what is the guy in the back doing? His arms are out and he seems to be leaning back. Tom

Good work, I like the Stug III and Kubelwagen. The figures tell the story. Brick wall is good, nice job on that. Firstsergeant

He's holding pieces of foliage to put on the Stug for camouflage. Placing branches from the pile on the Stug.

Both vehicles & the groundwork look pretty good. I like the waffle pattern zimmerit on the Stug,, don't see that very often.

Nice diorama but the first thing I noticed was the 222 decal needs a shot of micro sol

I did use the #2 solvent. Might have to do some more on the one side. The zimmerit makes it hard
