BRAVO*6 added another great kit to at rest posed Vietnam War U.S. figures. Besides the dynamic posed Tet Offensive Marines and Rumble in Jungle Infantry soldiers, it is so good to see Vladimir always finds new subjects to sculpt interesting posed, relaxed figures reflecting the military daily life in war.

B6-35317 Puppy includes two soldiers liking or playing with a puppy. Though the boxart shows the figures on a M551 Sheridan hull, they can be displayed in many scenes like next to any vehicle, tent, bunker , trench, etc.
Review

  • Figures come in company’s standard cardboard box labeled with boxart painted by Vladi. Each figure’s parts are served in two small zip-lock bags; one for body and one for small parts like head, arms and others. All are lumped into a larger one. I like this packing style of BRAVO*6 as I have never seen a damage or problem due to transfer till now.

  • Casting is very good with no mistakes or excess. There will be no need for a serious cleanwork. I think removing from casting blocks and cleaning these parts will be enough before priming.

  • One of the figures is sculpted on a sitting pose holding a puppy with two hands and the other is posed standing and leaning on the barrel of Sheridan to watch puppy.

  • Both figures wear 3rd pattern tropical combat Trousers with trotters inserted into 2nd pattern leather-canvas combined Jungle boots. Standing figure has OD undershirt as sitting one wears 3rd pattern Jacket. Body postures, proportions ,cloth folds, wrinkles and details on uniforms are well sculpted and look realistic.

  • Heads are given as seperate parts that makes change between figures and replacement possible. Besides nice facial details, happy facial expressions on both figures are well defined.

  • Arms may need a fast sanding as removed from sprue. Puppy and hands of the sitting figure are sculpted in one piece and extra care and dryfit will be needed for the correct pose.

  • A CVC-Combat Vehicle Crewmen helmet is given to display between legs of sitting figure as in boxart or elsewhere. It shows nice interior and exterior details like studs retaining the liner, exterior draw string, send and receive switch box and earphones.

    Conclusion

Another nice additon to static posed Vietnam War at rest figures of BRAVO-6. Good poses, clean and crisp details and flawless cast. A puppy and figures with happy faces bring peace to a war scene.
  • SUMMARY
Useful figures to display on at rest scenes and also multi-use to display on vehicles, basecamp, trench , etc. Nice sculpt and cast as usual.
