Military Vehicle Open Day, Imperial War Museum, Duxford 6th June 2009.
The 15cwt truck was developed in the early 1930s, originally as a replacement for the various types of light 6 wheeled vehicles that were then in service. Originally seen as a platoon truck the 15cwt quickly developed into an all round GS (General Servcie) vehicle. (Referenced from British Military Transport by David Jane).
