M 42 Duster

Greg Kostulski shares with us some images of his M 42 Duster. The model used is the AFV Club offering in 1/35th scale. The following are the comments supplied by Greg on this model;

An excellent 1/35th scale AFV kit of Vietnam War SPAAG. The kit is great, and also quite complicated. The model was made practically out of the box, painted using Lifecolor acrylics, effects made with MIG washes, some oils and powders. My models are usually armour, and this one up to now one of my favourites.

Very nice, Greg, love the painting, weathering and the extra details, magazine etc. Duster is such a cool vehicle as well.

Greg: wonderful! I don't know why the Duster is my favorite SPAAG - it is not the best looking (reminds me of a llama), most used, etc. - yet it is my favorite. Your model looks great and the way I imagine I want to build my own. All the dirt and scum blend well with the paint; fine details. What a great model!
