10th FNSS PlasticBattle 2017

  • 10th FNSS PlasticBattle Armor Modeling Show was held in Ankara on 16-17th September with participation of 305 competition models by 124 modelers and 30+ display models.
  • Sponsored by FNSS Defense Systems, hosting was admirable with professional technical support, all-day drink services, lunch and cookouts, souvenirs like t-shirts with show logo, magnets and pins.
  • A decennial modeling magazine; ACV-15 Special issue is published for the show offering history, technical data, paint schemes, references photos and models for ACV-15 in Turkish and English. It includes three step by step articles on building two different versions of ACV-15 and a diorama with vehicle on assembly line. An e-book version of the magazine will be available soon and can be downloaded free. If interested, please contact me.
  • Workshops was held by two masters; Volker Bembennek on diorama building and Radek Pituch of Rado Miniatures on figure sculpting.
  • Pere Pla of Abrams Squad/ Defense Now magazines was an honor guest and a judge on the competition.
  • As in the past years, FNSS performed their traditional field demo and vehicle exhibit for of ACV-19 and Pars 8x8 Wheeled Armored Vehicle.
