Aloha everyone!!

Just receiving a bonus check from work at the end of the week and looking forward to "rewarding" myself with a FEW kits and was wondering if anyone had the low down on AEF Designs new offering of the Canadian LAVIII conversion for the AFV Stryker kit. And lastly whether there is any word on this variant being on the possible playlist for AFV Club or DML.

Thank you in advance!!!

I think the only other confirmed AFV Club Stryker is the M1128 Mobile Gun System, although given the mileage they're getting out of their Centurion molds (3 down, at least 3 more to go), I wouldn't rule out anything. DML have been completely silent on just what they're going to be doing - probably trying to figure out a way to slide mold slat armor. I also wouldn't rule out Trumpeter, especially since they seem to be turning their Stryker kit into what it should have been in installments.

My primary concern - and in this I'm looking for feedback from others generally - is the current reliability of AEF. I notice his stuff can now be bought from places like Historica, and they actually seem to have stock. I swore off (and at) AEF a few years ago after a few direct orders that took months and arrived...uh, with signs of very poor QA (damaged pieces, missing pieces, fairly large pieces with fairly obvious cases of underpour (i.e. missing corners))

If AEF has changed its method of working and can be considered reliable, I'd be very interested in hearing about it. The impression I always got was that he was so hyper-productive in terms of new conversions, etc, that QA and the actual business side of the company in general were mostly ignored.

Never did got the missing pieces from that IDF PT-76B conversion...

No word about a LAV III from any producer other than Real Model......which will be a great LAV III conversion.....AFV Club Stryker is the base kit to be used.

LAV III build links.........
