He''s done it again. JBA has brought us another diorama that makes me feel like a rank amature. He shares all of his tricks and advice on building a diorama from scratch.

Enjoy this feature I know I did.

Hi jba,

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the site at the moment, so I can't see the pics.

I'll catch this later when the system is functioning properly again.

Superb diorama, filled with amazing little details. I enjoyed the clothing on the line, the excellent weathering effects, the submerged portions of the vessel look great, the water is terrific and the lily pads are the cat's meow. One of the best non-combat dioramas I have seen, clever and well placed and great details.

Fantastic work JB
You must be the most original 'dioramist' (is that a real word?) / Artist around. Your scenes all have a certain haunting quality that just makes you look and think. You have that rare gift for creating images that create other images and ideas when looked at.
I find your work truly inspiring and totally original.

Can't wait for the next one!

Jean-Bernard:
Once you pass, and as I always surprises
In my humble opinion of your lot with the meaning of "builder Dioramas," for me what you make is art.
Your work recorded and transmitted feelings translate something as abstract this in the hands of very few.
Congratulations, you do not know how I personally would like to see your work

I know that I compared your work with Dali before, it is just the surreal feeling that you manage to create, from the setting of the main structure right down to the way the light plays. Absolutely stunning.

Looking forward to your next masterpiece Jean-Bernard.

Thankyou Jean-Bernard for an extraordinary insight into how you translate your dreams for us to see. I was amazed at the incredible amount of effort you applied to achieve your peace of mind. Always great to find the answers to " how'd he do that?"
And thanks to you,Scott, for bringing it to us to see!

Jean-Bernard, your work is so far and beyond mere model-making that it should be exhibited in the Guggenheim Museum or somewhere similar. It is PURE ART, period.
Simply amazing, haunting, inspiring, humbling---I'm truly beyond superlatives in praise for the body of your "work"!
