hi folks this is my first post here and i just thought i would show you my wip of a 165 Lancers Saracen depicting the vehicals in the UNFICYP UN paint scehme from the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus. this is the old Dartmoor mil models Saracen fited with Firing Line wheels to uprate the kit, with AA decales tow ropes and slave lead to be fitted also AA. http://photobucket.com/ncfblancer

hi Patrick thanks for the kind words, the Saracen is slowly coming along having sacrificed the Saladin for its wheels because the Sarecen's paint job was better. the Saracen was the old Dartmoor kit that i had rebuilt from the spares box and it was the first project i had really undertaken for many years, i had built kits out of the box but not from the scrap pile. the Saladin was nice when it was in green and black but when i turned it to UN white it was horrible. the Saracen however had the right look though and as i now have a decent compresor and air brush it is going in leaps and bounds. cheers Noel

hi Randy thanks for the support mate , the flags i got off the Accurate Armour web site and it was a quite simple if a slightly tricky job of rolling them into an elongated cone onto one of Accurates antennas. i did ruin one flag though so some caution is needed. cheers Noel
