Cheers for the review Stefan. Nice indeed to see such an unusual subject, and this machine certainly has its own unique look. The Italeri idea of providing the photographic reference manual is great, I built the Sahariana which came with a similar booklet, and it was invaluable, especially considering references to these machines are not exactly widespread.

I want to see someone go for that super camouflage scheme on the box art, please!

Buyers should note that the tracks lack the recessed track pins seen on Italian tanks of the period. These would have required four part molds to depict, which Italeri skipped for obvious financial reasons. They could be drilled out individually (a home made jig would be advisable, since the holes need to be in exactly the same place for every single link). The saner (albeit more expensive) solution would be aftermarket tracks, of course. For those of us who are both frugal and lazy, there's always Italian mud...
