BTW the gear boxes are horrible to build.

Part A15 and A16 are mislabeled. A15 should be used on the LHS and A1t6 on the RHS

I agree about the gear boxes. And the axles being separate makes it difficult to make them all line up correctly. By the time you finish the suspension and put the wheels on, you discover that not all the wheels are touching the ground.. but the cement has already dried up and it's too late to fix it

I think the way AFV Club made them as one piece is better fot this.

Concerning the issue of the wheels not touching the ground you can use the PAM set and playing will the eight wheels

Please forgive my ignorance.. but what is "the PAM set"?

PAM = Pro Art Model

They have a set of 8 wheels with different bulge so you can play around with it in order to have them touching the ground.

Done with all the suspension.
Well as you can see the bars are not inside the wheels hubs ????
But all the wheels are touching the ground.
I used a voyager PE in order to ease the process of turning the wheels.

The lower hull is done
The transmission bars are not align with the wheels hubs.
But all the wheels are touching the ground. The suspension perforated cover are a little wrong and you need to use all the plastic parts.

This little beast is one of the most complex plastic model I ever done before. There are so many small pieces less than 1 mm. It is moveable.
But on the instruction set, you need to glue the small wheels supports onto the frame and on the ref pics you can move them. So I dont know what to do ??

hi ,. it looks as though your second set of turning wheels are turned more than the front , i think that the front wheels have a sharper turning radius then the second set of wheels. ive also run into problems trying to make those stupid wheels turn

Looks good so Far Seb, I would be building along with you if I would have gotten my Kit. However I was one to fall for someones false good deals on here and have yet to recieve it. Will be watching here none the less.

The wheels mounting system is not glued on the main support.
I am still looking for details on that since Trumpeter claim on the instruction that you need to glue them.
On my ref pics it seems that they can move??

hi, i saw this other fellow's post and he made a really great job of doing a subtle anti-skid texture using Rust-o-leum spray paint. seen this done this way several times before but this one was really nicely in scale.

The material is aluminum oxide powder, each grain has diameter of 250 microns, so it will not be overside.
I just need to reduce the layer of deposition of the powder. I did it with PVA glue so by adding water and brush a little bit I can tune the effect.
