I have an affinity for winter camo, so I'm in.

What time frame are you looking at?
I would like to try my hand at a Soviet ski patrol...

Right time for it and definitely would be interested. Been wanting to do an 'Ardennes' type dio with Panzergrenadiers in winter camo and something 'white-washed' to go along with them. Start around December?

Im thinking of doing these figures in a trench/mg/arty position pretty much like the boxart. And if I have time include a s.FH 18 howitzer.
I have a thing for snow and trenches

Start around december sounds good to me

I am in! Long time since I have done a kit with white wash, so this will be a nice excuse.

Thanks Sal! I think it is just my over active imagination at work . Just spied a STRV 12 on eBay, I will do it in winter splinter camo and finish it with Echelon decals.

I'd be up for this one, the winter white wash is a great finish to a model. Never had the confidence to attempt one but, I could be tempted.....

I could enter this one, I have some DML Fallschirmjäger in winter camo and never done snow before, so nice challenge.

I did some quick research and I could only find German ski patrol figures. Do any of you guys know if there even are any Russian ski patrol figures?

Jeremy,
Don't know what scale you want but I found this:

http://www.scalehobbyist.com/catagories/Scale_Figures/RMG00002516/product.php?s=0&t=5&u=0&pg=3&ppp=24&sb=stocknumber&so=a&e=0&era=0,5,6&ct=6

Hope that helps

Thanks for looking Sal! The 1st Revell 1/72 set would have been good if it were in 1/35, at least for the ski equipment. The 1/35 Trumpeter set may be promising, but still not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking through a few other resources, but I may just go with the German ski patrol figures I found earlier...

Another fallback could be these guys from Tahk:

November 2010- May 2011 would be a nice timeframe, but....

I think that December 2010-December 2011 would be awesome, and would give most of us the chance to work together and develop our winter weathering and diorama techniques (for those who choose to do so)
