I want to find plans/images of a DUKW fitted out to launch rockets. I have seen a photo of one such vehicle near the front in the PI, and read about one at Cape Gloucester. But plans, photos and other references are few and far between, apparently. Any thoughts where I might look?

Here's another view of a DUKW fitted with the T44 which was a 120 tube 4.5 inch rocket launcher :

More TM pics (from TM 9-394) :

The complete TM can be found here :

On a side note, a variant of the T44 could be fitted to the LVT 4.

Sheesh-- Frenchy has all the answers! Nice work!
I was considering a Landing Craft Tank, Rocket, or something like this duck for the upcoming Artillery campaign, since they're including rocket launchers. I'd probably stick with an actual mobile howitzer of some kind, but I was considering this. Still 10 months to settle on something before the campaign begins.

Hi
Interesting idea, been thinking about this rocket dukw for a while myself but same as you lack of pic's. I think there's some video footage on Youtube.
I did a similar thing with a GMC truck with Rockets mounted on the flatbed ( used during the battles in the Hurtgen Forest) for the Campaign Self Propelled Indirect Fire that was on here a while back.
good luck with this.

Wow, that's just about the perfect mix of ridiculous and awesome! How effective would these have been?

Just cameacross a movie clip showing a demo of a rocket-launching DUKW as pictured above :

On a side note, it seems that another variant could be found :
