Built OOB to test some weathering techniques for my Canadian LAV 3
AFV Club kit , Tamiya paint, weathered with artist oils and my airbrush.

Very nice job,I like your dust effect,but it is just screaming for some figures and atowage

thanks guys.
since this was a test for weathering I decided not to add any figures etc. when I do my LAV3 i will be sure to load it up with all that stuff.
as for the process of weathering...

I pre and post shaded it



then an overspray of lightened base colour




next was a pin wash of "naples yellow" artist oils.



then the easiest part of the weathering process. I mixed up some tamiya paint in a colour i like to call "dust"
and sprayed it all over the undersides and up the side of the vehicle.




the weathering was by far the most fun part of the build
