Seems like Miniarm is working on a new T-55AM conversion:
(hope Igor doesnt mind me posting these pics, I took them from the panzer35.ru forum)

Also a few other new releases from him seem to have slipped under the radar:
T-54/55 wheels??

T-62 road wheels:

RMSH tracks:

Looks like some pretty smart stuff! Theres some pics on panzer35 as well of what I believe is the beginnings of aT-72BM 'Rogatka' turret which looks rather nice as well.

At least we will be able to get a good T55AM conversion now. The tracks and wheel sets have been out for awhile. There are 2 sets for the T55, one with the larger hubs and one without them to use on T54s and early T55s. I have the later T55 set, the T62 set, and the Rmsh set. They are all very good. The T55/62 sprockets in the Rmsh set are just castings of the Trumpeter T62 Rmsh sprockets. That is ok because Trumpeter did a good job on them.

I have the T-55/62 RMSh set. I can't say if the sprockets are castings of Trumpeter ones but they perfectly fit over the Tamiya T-55 sprocket drive housing.
The only point is even if Miniarm molded a positioning "lug" to help aligning both parts, they still are free as the lug is not large enough. At least in my set.

The carving is really nice but assembling the workable links is still a pain!

It seems this looks to be the the best conversion for a T-55AM so far, although they left out the correct front hooks. The correct ones can be found in the Tamiya T-72 kit.

It would be nice to see the late-pattern fuel cells released separately - I could use them to dress up my Trumpeter T-62 kits.

The T55/62 sprockets in the Rmsh set are just castings of the Trumpeter T62 Rmsh sprockets.

I have both the Trumpeter kit and the Miniarm RMSh set and I checked your statement about Miniarm casting Trumpy's parts. I must say Miniarm sprockets are not direct castings. The detail is better and different on the inner face of the outer ring, the way you attach the parts one to another is different as well and the central ring is thinner.

Hi

As your company has the means to produce P/E, a nice addition would be to include the deep wading mount for the engine deck. This would certainly make it the best Soviet T-55 conversion on the market....

I'll second that:

It would be very useful as a separate set to add to any Russian-made T-55 as well. There's quite a few T-55 PE sets out there but none of them include the wading mount. Will Miniarm be the first? Fingers crossed.

Cheers,
/E
