HobbyBoss 1/35 GMC with 40mm Bofors. Great kit with plenty of detail. Maybe too much detail in some areas as I felt that some parts had been made seperate just to bump the parts count! The keen-eyed amongst you will spot that a few PE parts are missing...........both windscreen wipers and a couple of small items from the gun are missing. Sorry HobbyBoss but my eyesight and hand-eye coordination ain't what they were a few years ago and these parts ended up too bent & broken to be used.

Very nice Cliff, if they ever released this as a standard GMC it would be the best available. I've built Bofors now from Italeri (on the Crusader chassis) and HobbyBoss and this one is far better. Still got the Bronco one to do but that already looks like it'll be the best of the guns.

My only concern, which I voiced above, is the use of seperate parts and PE when I feel it's not justified.

The GMC's I'd like to see in plastic are the SWB 352 cargo and the cab over models.

Hi Dave,
great build and paint job. Donīt worry about leaving some of the etch off, I understand thoroughly. Iīm only 46 and have the same problems with unneeded etch parts, that could and can be made in plastic.
