I haven't decided what to put into the stowage rack yet, but i'm calling it the 99.9% solution anyway

I will take some better pics outside when the weather gets nicer.

No Kitty, you are NOT helping.

Hi Rick,

Very nice weathering...and very fast work (compared to me!).

One thing sticks out...the .50 Cal ammo box...it should be in a standard tray and it should be on the other side of the .50 Cal.

Bugger! Now you've said that, it's all I can see!

Still, the rest is really nice. One of these Cents is on my "list".

Looks a treat Rick. Did you use one of the AFV Club kits for this beauty. I love the paint finish and the weathering.

Rick
That is zakkly the way I remember those beasties in 1973 during Reforger.I can still remember ground guiding one into the hide one chilly dark and damp evening,it sounded like hell itself coming in.Beautiful job representing it.

Thanks fellas!

After I freehanded the camo I applied a brown wash around the details, some oil stains on the deck and then used the oil dot method with white, blue and yellow paints.

What kit is this? Any after-market toys?

Fantastic free-hand work by the way!

Ah, I was actually interested in buying the AFV Centurion. Sadly, I think, you've actually made a better looking model than the one AFV Club uses as a stock image!

Hi there,

Can you tell me why you went with the Lion Roar turret, and where you go the light and the rear box from?

TIA

The Lion Roar turret includes an excellent mantlet cover as part of the turret. The mantlet cover is not included in the AFV Club kit.

The searchlight, stowage basket, 100 gallon fuel tank, and headlights are all included in the AFV Club NATO Centurion kit...which I see you are looking for on Missing Lynx.

The .50 Cal with M113 style mount, the headlight guard mesh, and late style antenna mounts are not in the kit. You can build a Canadian Mk.11LR without the .50 Cal mount.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am looking for this kit, but I haven't had any sellers as of yet. It's no where to be found in any online stores either. I may have to see if a buddy can get one for me on Ebay since I don't have paypal.

Thanks again
Brad
