I'm always looking for generic stowage - tarps, tents, and bedrolls are all eras - and these look well crafted. If they live up to their name with a low price, I'll be a regular customer! Reading the back of the tag, I'm looking forward to their future releases!

I am going to get some sets put up on ebay this weekend (so anyone can order from there by monday), going to figure some postal costs today, I have 5 sets of tents and tarps ready and within the week a set of generic scratch built crates that I am extremely proud of... I have so many other ideas wandering around in my head just gotta get them all out in putties and styrene...

In the future I plan to ship some of these to the states and have my family ship USA orders for me to keep shipping cost down... or try to get Internet Hobbies to Distro for me...

thanks for all the interest... I was not quite ready for this much attention, but it sure does make me feel like I am onto something people will like and find useful...

I am having so much fun making this stuff I am worried I might not ever get to build a tank again...

Thanks Steve

Nice work Steve,

Generic stowage is really useful, keep up the good work.

Good to see enterprise in these tough times.

Yeah, the Model Shop will be selling them for me and I should have some crate sets too... If it will stop raining I keep getting tiny moisture bubbles that you can barely see but stand out when painted... four seasons here and they all start with the word "Rainy"...

From what I remember from my visit last year those seasons sometimes appear all in the same afternoon.

The stuff looks awesome! Any chance of WWII style generic stowage such as tarps, bedrolls, crates, etc? It'd open up a whole new customer base!

Julian, this stuff is generic to almost any era that used canvas tents. You could put this in the back of a horse-drawn wagon and do Civil War or Crimea with it. Change the colors and go from rubberized cloth to canvas, perhaps adding a little Mr. Surfacer to give it fabric texture.

Woo hoo! Great news, I guess I assumed the straps and buckles would be more "modern" or something! Now that I've taken a closer look, these will look great on M3A2 halftracks, Stugs, horse drawn carts, jeeps, etc. Glad to see another resin player on the market, and reasonably priced too. It's beer o' clock now....

Painted with Humbrol enamels, washed with Windsor & Newton Burnt Umber oil and then dry brushed with more enamels then photographed in natural light:

Now to go stick them on something...just realised I have to pick out the buckles first. It's amazing how you see things in a photo that you don't see in the real thing

You can now order the first 5 sets of Universal/Generic Tents and Tarps directly from my site via paypal. or ebay if you prefer just search value gear.

http://www.valuegeardetails.com/StowageSets.html

The euro is down so anyone in the USA $11.93 is the converted price with shipping!

99% of the time I ship next day!
Shipping to the USA is about 5-7 days
Shipping to Europe is 2-5 days

Thanks for all the kind words from all who have seen and tried my new resin stowage... And thank you to Armorama for having such a great site for all of us to find each other and discuss fun stuff...

So far I have had orders from USA, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and the UK... A ton from the UK, they must be building a huge plastic army...

thanks steve
