It looks interesting indeed. It has lots of parts and I'd really like to know more about that trasparent tarp. Is it a vac formed piece?

Thanks for posting the link.. I've never built any Roden kits before, but this looks like a pretty good kit. I wonder what the price tag will be?

Hmm based on that review it actually looks pretty crappy. The quality of the parts looks rather poor, lots of heavy detail, injector pin release holes and horrid sink marks. The wheels look abysmal as well. Frankly the finished model looks pretty lacklustre as well, kinda reminds me of those ancient Italeri kits. If it wasn't for the fact its a rare and interesting subject I wouldn't give this a second look. Certainly Miniman Factory don't need to worry about competition just yet.....

I have one in hand at this time. Does not seem bad at all. Now to get it to a reviewer.

Seems to be 'standard quality' for models from countries in what used to be the "Eastern block".

As for competition for Miniman Factory: The KrAZ-214 was the predecessor to the KrAZ-255 (Miniman) with some differences (central tyre pressure regulation ??). I think the front fenders are different as well, just compare images with those on Miniman Factory web-page.

Does anyone know if the KrAZ 214-B was used in tractor version with a 5th wheel by any militaries around the world.? I can find pics of the KrAZ 221, which I believe is the tractor version, but they all appear to be in civilian liveries.

Some examples.
