I have some un-answered questions from my T-90 pre-build ideas. This will eventually turn into a build log, once I get the materials, etc. My main questions are, has there ever been an anti-slip coating on Russian armor? Regardless what is the best way to make an anti-slip coating? Is there such thing as a KMT-8? or could a 7 pass on a 2012(15) T-90? I don't know of any Russian AFV's with anti-slip. I've never made it myself but most guys swear by terracotta textured spray paint or Tamiya Diorama paints. Yes, the KMT-8 is a real thing.

I believe the T-90's were issued with the 8 but i don't see why they couldn't use other KMT types, especially in a hypothetical war scenario.

SWEET! That looks outstanding. Gonna be one hell of a scratch-build. Time to look up resources, haha! Any ideas where to look? I was thinking a find sand glued down with white glue. Brush white glue onto where I want sand, teaspoon sand on press in, tap excess off.
