Hi to all!. I've recently noticed that there's quite a discrepancy between Tamiya (and Academy too) and Dragon M34A1 gun mount. There's at least a difference of 2 mm (2.9 vs 3.1) between the mantlets only, and it's greater between the mounts. So I ask, Which one is accurate?. A quick glance over some pics make me thinks that Dragon hit nearly.
Thanks in advance

The turret opening was 38.00 x 23.00 with 6.00 radius corners and there was about a 1/32 gap all around between it and the gun shield.

Here's a link to a similar investigation:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/47208/thread/1227873623/M34-M34A1+mantlet+width-

that gave the following measurements:
"-Tamiya measures 29,2 mm x 16,8 mm ~3,5 radius ,definately a bit wide and rather square corners.
"-Tasca measures 27,7 mm x 16,1 mm ~4,4 mm radius, almost spot on, maybe a little low in height.
"-Dragon measures 26,9 mm x 16,4 mm ~4,5 mm radius, very similar to Tasca."
