Early Christmas present made possible by the hard work of webmaster, Jim "Staff_Jim" Starkweather. I've awarded the medal to everyone who sent me photos of their kit that was uploaded onto the official Operation Barbarossa gallery.

Much like the actual Operation Barbarossa, this campaign dragged on much longer than anticipated. I want to thank Jim for his hard work as well as the participants for taking part in the campaign (and for their patience). I think we had the most amount of completions for the various group builds (32 total). While the medal isn't the same as the ribbon submitted by ModlrMike, I'm not complaining.

The following modelers are awarded the Operation Barbarossa campaign ribbon:

  1. AaronW
  2. avukich
  3. Faust
  4. generalzod
  5. Grasshopp12
  6. Graywolf
  7. Grifter
  8. HastyP
  9. Jacques
  10. Jeepney
  11. jrnelson
  12. keenan
  13. Kingcrt

  15. ModlrMike
  16. mrs_selrach
  17. Orion

Oops...sorry didn't know there was a selected ribbon. If it's any consolation I actually found a site that had info about the actual German medal for participation in the first phase of Operation Barbarossa. This medal is a similar style to that one.

Rob - Thanks for finishing up the awards list.

Cheers,
Jim

Please refer to my original post and Jim's reply regarding the change in ribbon status. I'm just happy we have a ribbon and can call this one done.

Thanks for the motivation, Rob. The little field kitchen deal I built is destined for a dio (sometime).
Thanks to the all the effort and the killer campaign.
