Hello, all

I was wondering if someone can help me with a pic who shows the bench fixations just behind the front seats.

The version I am talking about

Need of detail.

Hi Alex.

Have you tried Brent Sauer's website HMMWV In Scale? He's got a LOT of information and photos there. Here's a link: http://hmmwvinscale.webs.com/

If you are looking for rear troop seat details, check out my 'walk-around' photo album here:

If these photos are not what your after, let me know.

Exactly what I need. Thank you very much. On the Italeri barriers there are some bars at the bottom of the part in front of. I supposed that is just of use to the sticking.

Alex, I hope you don´t mind me using your thread.

In early stage of OIF there were some recon M-998s with the rear sideboards and benches turned 180 degrees. Simply the benches were outside the vehicle loaded with crew´s gear.

Would someone have a close-up photo of where and how exactly the sideboards were mounted? I only have few pictures of these vehicles, but no details.

Thank you

Jiri,

Thanks for your post. I've been researching the Humvee for several years and haven't seen the humvees you are talking about. I would love to see the pictures that you have.....would you be willing to share them?

Hello all,

I have these three in my laptop, but the best ones are in Concord Spec. Ops Vol. 26. I can scan them next week. These should belong to 2nd Recon Bn. in OIF in 2003.

Thanks for any comment on how the sideboards and banks can be attached to the vehicle in this case.

I cannot clearly tell in the photos that the seats are on the outside of the HMMWV. Having said that, to achieve what you are talking about, the seat assemblies would just be turned around to face out instead of facing inside the vehicle.

I'm sorry I'm not of much better help.

Thanks,
Brent
