Hello!

I'm starting a new build, a Sherman tank from El Alamein battle. Marking will be from *C-Squadron, 9th Queens Royal Lancers, 2nd Armoured Brigade, 1st Armoured Division, El Alamein, 1942-Light stone 61 with disruptive pattern of dark/Olive green.

No problems for now with the construction, but care with the instruction will be advisable .

I will use metal barrels for the 75mm gun and coaxial MG, also Masterbox AFV crew.

Some Alclad grey primer is sprayed, also the rubber parts of the wheels...

Cheers!

Looks great keep up the good work! The crew you've chosen look very good. Hopefully the molding will be as nice as the art work.

Thanks!

Preshading made, also some highlight areas with Vallejo black and white, respectively. And soldering the mud guards.

I decided to use the kit barrel by the way

Proceeding with the lower hull. I discovered that I have to assemble the lower part of the tank with the suspension, because if I put the fenders, it will be impossible to add the tracks.

The main color Light stone 61 is homemade mix of Vallejo paints-Radome tan, Sand yellow, White.

Great start on your Sherman .. the color looks spot on ..Those PE fenders look awesome ... I did notice one thing and I hope I'm not too late ... You've put the air filter boxes on upside down , but if you are not too far gone should be an easy fix ..

Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming .. I love those early shermans!

I have a free time this week, so the main color is sprayed. The weather is cloudy so the color looks a bit lighter on the photos. But after washes and filters it will darken.
I'm onsidering also the scale effect, in reality the colors should be darker
I will wait the paint to dry and will proceed with the green strips.

Figures arrived, at first look, they seem of very good quality-we have Montgomery (I guess ), a nice bedouin with camel, an Indian soldier(probably Sikh) and three crew members.

Starting the work on figures with the bedouin and the camel . Nice details, though assembly of the camel is tricky, especially the saddle. Primed and next the paint.

Came out perfect, great job. I have the same kit and those freaking PE fenders are what are keeping me from starting it. After seeing yours I'm tempted to break it out
