For those who kindly offered to make donations to pay for the registration on the IRC Chat module, I have set up 2 modes of payment transfer. PayPal and Amazon. The links are located on the IRC Chat page.

Bryan Dewberry (Tin_Can) has made a gratious $5 donation already. Thanks again Bryan. $45 left to go.

Thanks everyone for your support!

Being that is does not accept checks there I need an address to send to.
Having been the victim of CC frued last year for over $1500!!, still quite reluctant to use this WWW for any payments.
Yes, it does suck having to send checks for all my online purchases, but at least I feel more comfortable.
Since I told Jim about 3 weeks ago I'd happily give half of it...I have a check here ready to fly by way of snail-mail.

That's why I got the AOL credit card. They have a guarantee against internet swiping, plus for every 2400 points I charge, I get a free month of AOL. I run my car payments through the card and it builds up the points, never pay for AOL and I use it for all WWW transactions because of the guarantee. Plus I never carry a balance so they don't get a finance charge, let alone any type of interest out of me. They probably hate me :-

apparently, it's a one-time $50 purchase so we can chat in peace on Fridays. Looks like over $25 in the kitty.

Ken - Sent you a PM with the address.

Tread - $28 dollars collected so far. It's a $50 registration fee for the IRC chat program. One time thing.

Thanks,
Jim

Sabot,

I don't know about a mile long run, but maybe I could come and and go for a ride in some armor with you someday. After my first surgery I was told the Army no longer wants me so I never got a chance to do it myself.

Many thx Sabot for the info.

Jim, $28.00 was sent via PayPal at 5:54PM MST. Hope that helps the cause. I will have to plan
on partaking of the 'chat' feature so I can talk with all the fine & informed people you have had
the fortune to assemble here on your site. Especially Sabot & Kencelot. Actually that's not
accurate, most of the people here are GREAT! I look forward to checking in here as often as I
can...good bunch of chums ya got here mate!

Tread

BTW...I consider it money well spent

Tread,
Wow...thanks for the very generous donation. I only needed another $22 to reach the $50 mark. Can I send the diff back to you?

Thanks to everyone who contributed!

If you're ever in the Boston, MA/Central Mass area, give me a holler and I'll see if I can get an M1, Brad or some other tracked vehicle running for you.

Well I can certainly look for something else to spend money on for the site.

Actually I am researching some database solutions for the Kit Database I have been talking about. It may well be something that may require another (small) registration fee. I will keep you posted on that.

Thanks for everyone's help and offers of help. Maybe I do need to make those T-shirts and have them ready for those "Gold" level contributors!

Jim,

I set out to contribute also, but PayPal sure hits the international crowd hard!! Kind of understandable since everything has to be dealt with in USD. Could you send me your address and I send you something in a more effective form for me.
