The box art is depicting No.4MkI. rifles used only from 1943, but the pictures of the assembled figures on MB page do fortunatelly show the correct SMLE rifles. Its strange that producers will pay attention to details of what if tanks, but can not portrait correctly a rifle thats been produced and fielded in milions.

I've had a look at their sprue shots and the do appear to be Mk III's in the kit. Sadly the Lewis drum has no detail underneath which is a shame as it wouldn't have been too difficult for them to mould some detail on it. I'll probably replace it with a Resicast one when I get them. I'll probably pick up a couple of boxes as I quite fancy doing a trench dio after seeing Al McNeillys two superb WW1 dios. It's a shame they're not all in puttees but I suppose the two really scruffy blokes do add a bit more realism to mid war/late war "making do" in water filled trenches.

Thanks for the compliment Karl. These should prove useful for the future. Still awaiting the new ICM release too.

Hi, All! This is GREAT NEWS, indeed! Does anyone out there know if there are any 1/35 World War I US Doughboys and/or US Marines in kit form or cast figures out there?
Thanks, Much- Dennis
