this is the 50 cal ammo bins... the PE for this is from eduard m35a1 set. The ammo bins didnt fit well at all so i had to think of some way to support them. I bet some kind of truck had this kind of ammo feed system.. if not or if there was a more common way please let me know

I guess it may depend on the gun truck type...AFAIK, it usually consisted of a driver, two gunners, a non-commissioned officer, and sometimes a grenadier armed with an M79 grenade launcher.

Thanks to all the people trying to help me! and yes this is a "nancy" truck but i want to call it something else cause there are too many nancy trucks out there haha. Does anybody have any catchy names or have pictures of a truck with this type of configuration? ...Anyways i am almost finished with this truck! Right now i am currently scratch building sand bags to fill the bed with using tissues and decor sand and it is coming out very nice!
here are some pictures

Coming along nicely. Great job so far. I see you filled in the exhaust hole on the right front fender. Lots of people leave it, but it shouldn't be there on an M35A1.

For name ideas, here is a link to the Army Transportation Museum website that lists most (if not all) the guntrucks used in Vietnam. Most have pics too. If you poke around the site, there is a wealth of guntruck info there.

Nice build! If you check the HARD RIDE and Have Guns will Travel books by James Lyles, they have a lot of pictures and info.

Looking good. You could drill out the conical ends of the flash suppressors on the .50 cals to make it look even better.

i thought of a name! the saigon spartans! i couldnt find any m35 to replicate that i liked so i coming up with my own name. one the front of the shield will be a face of the spartan helmet and on the rear metal plate will be the back of a shield! good idea??
