Principality of Gallia experimental tank "EDELWEISS" 1/35 Zoukei-Mura from "Valkyria Chronicles" SEGA game.

More images --> http://www.masterminiatures.it/gal/edelweiss.php

The "Edelweiss" is a tank from Valkyria Chronicles, a SEGA role-playing game for PS3.
Never played the game, but I found the model on HLJ.com.
Can't remember why I had this box in my pile; a quick afternoon build.. and even faster if you don't mind adding the full interiors: combat chamber, turret and engine; actually you can open the main hull after painting to show interiors.
Commander cupola interior and hatches absent; the only one interior detail you really need.

Quite soft plastic, Dragon '90 details quality.

Base colour: "decayed sand yellow"
Tamiya acrylics with lacquer thinner.
Old school chipping: no hairspray nor salt but old brushes and a small sponge for chipping.
Worn out sand yellow using "chemical abrasion": rub an old brush moist with a really tiny bit amount of lacquer thinner; old dry brush technique with german grey here and there. A bit of "magic" with oil colors.

Giovanni Barberio, a friend of mine, kindly offered to paint the DAK Panzer NCO from Alpine Miniatures.

A "What if?" or "Fantasy" subject? Does it really matters? It was fun! ^^

I agree with the prior posts,, simply outstanding results!! The colors all blend perfectly & the commander is icing on the cake. And to top it all off, that is one bad-ass looking tank!!

A very nice vehicle. Only, I think that the low and protruding hull front can obstacle it on a moved ground.

Thank you! It was a really fun and quick project plus I have the pleasure to add a figure painted by my friend Giovanni to my showcase.
