I have spent the last hour on the Internet trying to come up with a photo of a French Char B-1 bis disabled by an 88mm shell. It can't be burned out, I need it to be hit at least once and not fired or charred. Thanks in advance.

Maybe "Cantal" from the 15e BCC

http://www.chars-francais.net/2015/index.php/classement-individuel/chars-b1-et-b1-bis?task=view&id=177

or "Amiens" from the 8e BCC :

http://www.chars-francais.net/2015/index.php/classement-individuel/chars-b1-et-b1-bis?task=view&id=122

would fit the bill ? Both have been disabled by the same 88mm gun...

Another option : "Crouy" that belonged to the 47e BCC :

Naturellement!

Crouy looks like the one. Merci mille fois, mon ami.

You're welcome Bill. You'll find a few more pics of "Crouy" in these threads :

On a side note, a B1 Bis called "Crouy" was used by the FFI
(Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur) in 1944/1945 :

Thank you, H.P.

I have a built Tamiya Char B-1 that I hope to marry to a Trumpy Sd.Kfz.8 "Bunkerknacker" with an 88 on the back.

Let me hazard a guess, that marriage didn't end well?

Cheers,
