Finally my Panda JERRV arrived. I have decided to do it as a Canadian JERRV in Afghanistan, prior to the shift to the high roof variant.

Here is the inspiration, the first image is from Richard Saucier's book Canadian EROC vehicles.

The major modificiation will be the removal of the mast mounted camera(saving it for a Canadian Buffalo A2 version) and the addition of the T-Antenna mounts unique to Canadian vehicles. You will not in the above pictures that it is a different turret, however from images I have seen(in Richard's book) both style of turret was used on the low roof vehicles.

Here is the box, since I am off sick today I will get started and report back

So I have finished most of step one, which is the rear suspension assembly. Still some issues which were prevalent on the 4x4 version. The U shaped pieces which attach the axles to the suspension are still to short, lots of sloppy fits, and a good deal of scraping and cleaning required.

So on to step two later this week.

The kit is just like the 4x4 a f*&king nightmare. No progress been fighting with the axle/suspension assembly trying to get it on the chassis but I've run out of super glue.

Meanwhile heres a shot of one with the O-GPK turret.

Sorry to hear that.. I was hoping to hear good news about this one. Guess I already know which Husky I'll be getting.

Isn't anyone able to contact the people who run this company to tell them that they're a missing a chance to have some of the best kits on the market.. if only they could fix this parts fit problem that seems to plague all their kits?!!
