Hi guys! I am currently working on a Takom Leopard C2 in over all green with Canadian markings. I've run into a bit of confusion. What is the best green to use for Canadian armor?

Thanks for the help
Mike

I just use Tamiya NATO green, with a dab of forest green to get a bit of the deeper tone I tend to see Canadian vehicles with.

Careful with the marking with the TAKOM C2 kit, as they are incorrect . Send me a message and will help you out with the correct markings help.

Cheers

Thanks for the help guys!

Anthony, I'm really just looking to do a quick OOB build on this guy. I'm not shooting for accuracy on this one, but I do appreciate the offer.

Thanks
Mike

I WOULD AGREE WITH GRAEME. I HAVE USED A 2 TO 1 RATIO OF TAMIYA NATO GREEN WITH ONE PART FEILD GRAY AS THE BASE COAT. I THEN WILL MIST OVERSPRAY THE FIELD GRAY ON THE UPPER HORIZONTAL SURFACES.

Thanks Mike. I actually tested that mix on the belly of the kit and am really happy with the results.

Thanks again guys!

I used Tamiya NATO Green over a Flat Black coat, seemed to give me the color that I wanted. Then highlights with Tamiya Cockpit Green and Sky to warm it up
