Weren't those track covers made up of 5 pieces a side? So the Trumpeter parts are seriously over-simplified for this scale.

Still haven't fixed the radio which is molded upside down. Etc.

But it will look massively impressive on the shelf, no doubt!

Looks like a direct scale-up from a 1/35 kit.

Hopefully they'll fix all those issues with flash as well, right?

At least it's the Henschel suspension and not the Porsch one.

Anyone heard anything updating the release date?

I notice HLJ had indicated that it was expected on or around August 31st, though I'm not sure that really means anything.

They have since updated to simply "August Release."

This thing should be around 26" long including the gun barrel in 1/16th scale!

Has anyone ordered one?

I noticed earlier today that HLJ had the kit in stock for $332.67.

Just checked again a few minutes ago and the kit is now listed as out of stock with a 4-6 week ordering time!

I'm building this kit right now and would like to warn those considering buying it, it's advertised as 100% new tooling.. it's not. It's less than 50% new tooling, most of the kit is 00906, King Tiger. All the oil tanks and fuel tanks require a lot of filling and sanding to hide the seams and the simplified transmission is still the same parts.
