I am building a series of Sherman tanks, and all of them will be finished as a vehicle of the 15th tank battalion, 6th armored division. There are some fantastic decal sets available (thank you Bison!) and all of them show a bit more than numbers and stars, which makes them stand out...

I'm also doing an M19 tank transporter, a GMC water truck and some other trucks (GMC's amd a White 666).

My question is how to find out how these vehicles would be marked in association with the 15tb/6ad. The Bison set includes markings for a jeep and a half track, but would trucks and transporters share the same markings?

If not, what would be the most logical choice ?

M19s, GMC 2.5 ton water trucks and heavy 666 trucks would not normally be on the organization rolls of a US armored division. They would be used by adjacent support units, not integral to any specific Armored Division but managed by higher level HQs. Look up Table of Organization for a US armored division.
