Hi Hubert,
A very nice looking job on a very big build for a 15yr old, well beyond my skills at that age & and nice to see some work by a younger modeller too!!

Computer games are fun but modelling is more rewarding!! Keep up the great work, and I look forward too seeing more of your progress.

Hi Hubert,
Your model looks great! What did you use for grass?

Hubert: Great Job!

Jason: How is that a 'horrible' kit? Seems to come out just fine.

I enjoyed this. Is this straight out of the box or did you make some additions.

Also how did you do your white wash camouflage?

Great job!

Thanks for the nice comments. The grass is Polak 4805 i believe. The white wash is Tamiya XF-2 mixed with a lot of water painted over the russian green, it was an accident I added to much water but it turned out really good. Except the rope the kit is straight out of the box.

On the white wash, did you hand paint or airbrush the
Tamiya white?

This looks impressive! Great job!

I would like to hear more about the white camouflage, too. Was this done by airbrush or hand painted?

Also, are the images taken at some show? Have you entered this in a competition?

I have never used an airbrush. The white camouflage was painted by hand i used some washes and white pastels.

Yes the model was my first entree on a competition in Gniezno on 19-20 september and took the top-three place in my classification.Later it was shown on the International Hobby Fair in Poznan.

I will try to upload more photos later today.

Hubert,

That is a wonderful diorama.

Your mud and weathered whitewash look excellent. As does your groundwork.
