£12 shipping to Europe? Ouch.

I really wanted to get the book, but the shipping fee is definitely a deal breaker.

For some reason shipping costs from the UK are often prohibitive, I saw a book on ebay for $15 and the UK vendor was asking for $25 shipping to USA.

On the other hand Book Depository UK have free shipping deals on many books, go figure... They don't have that book though.

Cheers,

Christophe

Agree... it's almost twice the price tag. Anyway it would be nice to see the index, and know how many pages. Need a review!

Wanted to get the book but yeah, like others said $20 USD for shipping a small book is prohibitive.

If I could afford to ship for free I would, but experience shows shipping untracked leads to losses I have to bear the responsibility for, and there just isn't enough money in the business to cover it. As it is I don't even get all of it thanks to paypal, but I don't think its right to add on even more to cover their fees.

I am talking to sellers in various countries, in some cases I would hope in the longer term you can buy it locally for less using the seller's ability to ship bulk at a better per book shipping rate.

Ask your local modelling book specialists to get it and maybe we can grab them in a pincer movement!
