I want to add a short wheel base cckw deuce and a half to my collection im thinking of starting with the tamiya kit as a base and adding the hard cab from italeri's truck then going from there but the italeri kit seems hard to find i seen that Hobby boss makes the short wheel base deuce and halves but I seem to recall a issue with the cab on the any assistance or info will be greatly appreciated

I found a bunch of Italeri GMC Water trucks on the "re-sale" table at my LHS for $12 each. Grabbed em all (3). Sometimes this kits appears on EBay too. It has the requisite closed cab. Good luck.

28 Italeri water trucks currently up for bid on eBay. All under $30, some under $20. One guy wanted $75 for a water truck. I told him they go for $20 - $30 at hobby shows. That one is no longer listed.
