I'm just completing the Mirror Models Diamond T wrecker and would like to finish and mark it as a vehicle being used by the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). A couple of questions:

1. Is it likely or possible that the vehicle would have been left in the US olive drab before going into service?

2. Any good pictures of the markings evident on such a vehicle (Web/book)?

1) Standing orders were to leave US made equipment in OD unless it was undergoing overhaul or for special circumstances. So it's not only possible, but likely.

2) And yet, here's a thread talking about a UK Diamond T wrecker that was clearly repainted.
