I am currently building Meng's excellent Char 2C. I'd like to add a commander to the turret and was wondering if it was normal to tilt the top small turret back for a better view?

And there seems to be two access doors to the back of the turret but they are molded shut. Could they be opened for easier crew access?

IRC the cupola had only vision ports , no hatch . The smaller Hotchkiss and Renault tanks had the same kind of thing but in a dome shape . The commander exited via the rear hatch in the turret
