Nice work so far. Who's kit?

In the last picture is there an ejection mark on the towing clevis? If so now would be a good time to hide it.

Very impressive PE work. Looking to get this kit myself so I am following with great interest. All comments and observations on the build are appreciated. Thank you and good luck.

Thanks All!

David,

this is Abrams from RMF, PE from Voyager. Sorry, where do you see ejection mark?

Hyder,

PE are not glued, they are soldered:

Jacek,
How do you like the RFM tracks compared to the Fruil tracks. The only thing I didn;t like about the RFM tracks was that some of the pads came apart while messing with the tracks during assembly and painting. To fix that, I carefully dabbed some Tamiya Liquid Cement in the locator holes.

Your soldering work is beautiful and clean. What is your technique? Do you use resistance soldering or a soldering iron?

Regards,

Eric

Pete,
I will use the RMF. Thank you for the warning.

Eric,
I have no special technique. Solder “Koki paste”. That's all I'm using (plus longanimity):

Brings back a lot of memories seeing you do in 1/35 what I worked with in 1/1.

Those louvers look too straight, got to dent them up a bit.

Jacek, great start. I don't think this is a bad blessing as everything I see is great.

Hi.

Question ... Do XM19 Abrams Reactive Armor Tiles have handles? Any photo?

David,

this is Abrams from RMF, PE from Voyager. Sorry, where do you see ejection mark?

Sorry I missed this reply. The photo of the right rear the towing clevis looks like it might have an ejection pin mark on the portion where the pin enters the clevis. It might just be the picture but I would hate to see something so easy to fix marring this build.
