You better hurry in buying one of the first batch released because unless they've decided to be a stable company, there will be not more than one batch. Proof: Try getting your hands on one of the two (HF040 and HF043) Phalanx System or HF-007, the M984A1 Recovery Vehicle Conversion for the HEMTT. What I meant is: they stop very fast making more batches of a model.

This is great although it comes just after RP models announced their similar release just a few days ago. I'm still waiting for a styrene 1/35 Vietnam monitor. Come on major manufacturers! The brown-water navy is an untapped market just waiting to be discovered.

I wonder if they will make a 1/35 crew for it. I haven't seen new Hobbyfan resin figures released in a long while.

Hobby Fan makes nice stuff-just wish it was all injection-molded. I'd love the Alligator bridging ferry in 1/35th!

Or.......any situation where an airboat might be found, like a scene set in Louisiana as was mentioned, or the Florida Everglades. These weren't a SpecOps exclusive item.

Actually, I don't know why it is called a Spec Ops Airboat at all. These boats were operated by the US Navy as part of the Mobile Riverine Force which had the US Army's 9th Infantry Division as its main ground component. These boats occasionally supported Special Ops, but most often supported regular Army units in the 9th ID.
