Hello,
I'd like to build an AFV long Tom gun being towed by a Bulldozer and was wondering if the guns break lines where connected to the tractor as by a M4 or a Mack NO. If yes would you have any pictures of the dozer connections please?
Thank you.
Best regards

I would think that it would depend on how far the gun was being towed. I would think that at the speed and weight of a bulldozer, you wouldn't have to worry about the gun "getting away from you". I could be wrong and if you ask my wife, I probably am.

Does a bulldozer have a hook-up for trailer brakes? Im not sure if they even have an air compressor for air brakes?

Thanks guys,
that's what I thought also. the whole thing was pretty slow and I'm indeed not sure the dozer had a compressor.
Good weekend

Hello Robert-Jan,

There were fittings for air brakes on both the M4 High speed Tractor and the Long tom.

Thank you. I installed them on my Nitto M4 several years ago! Did crawlers have an additional towing pintle for the guns?
Cheers
Robert-Jan
