Ok, I know there are a LOT of campaigns coming up, but here's a catch-all idea for anyone who has a kit that fits in no other campaign, is maybe too off-the wall, the wrong time frame, weird, or unusual for any potential campaign, but still REALLY wants to build it!
Anything, ground, air, water, scale, war,what-if's, what wasn'ts,just make it military (even endless has ends)...
Any interest??? ;-)

Are there any more 'specific' details to the idea? I'm picking up a K1A1 and Type 87 (Recon, not AA) next month, that seem somewhat valid, as I've yet to see a campaign that'd work for them.

No, this will be the least "specific" campaign in a while, LOL! As long as it involves some sort of military vehicle/weapon/unit/individual(s) rolling, floating, flying, carrying, riding or standing,it is OK!

Sounds great then. Count me in!
The suggested timeframe also seems good to me, as I was intending on waiting untill late December, at minimum, to start on the Type 87 or K1A1. Not sure which I'll build... But the Type 87 has a few less build logs of it, so I'll probably go with that.

That MAS 568 kit is a beauty. All their 1/35 MTBs look to be.

Checking again, I also have a USS Defiant hidden away. May have to light it.

Jesper, Sci-Fi is definitely OK! What-ifs, kit-bashing, scratching, as long as it is military equipment (IE, has a gun, LOL)
Tat-A floater could be a nice change of scenery ;-)
I count 9......

Howdy Y'all
This sounds like an interesting campaign idea. I'm probably in too many campaigns I never finish. Would already started kits be allowed? I've got tons of started kits I need to work on for our Regional IPMS show this summer. If yes, then I'm in.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

Don- Sure, if it's only say, 25% started. Just show it in your start picture.

Hyder- You're in the exact right place ;-)

Clayton-Thank you! That should help me out for the 2017 IPMS Regional contest in Albuquerque, NM. ChiliCon IV will be sponsored by IMPS Chapter Albuquerque Scale Modelers. I think the theme being considered is "May the Fourth be With You-Star War's 40th Anniversary".
Of course all this talk about 25% started kits will be moot if Santa Claus brings my Dream Model this Christmas. You never know, it could happen.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Clayton,
Perhaps you could drum up some interest by posting something on the other sites such as Aeroscale.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
