Hmmm...there's the "hermaphodite" version... this one must be a "transsexual" version... who says tanks aren't sexy?

MARIECHEN was a female tank armed with German MG (those on the cover are British Lewis). The box art is a copy of o model built by a russian modeller, in my opinion decals are not of the correct shape. Hera a picture of the real tank

I like that they give you the choice of male or female in one kit. Saves you the money from buying one of each to get a male and female. that is unless you wNt one male and one female!!

Always thought that these WWI tanks were a howl and the paint schemes on both sides fascinating & challenging. Perhaps as a change of pace from Shermans and Panthers...

Takom's original releases of the Mk.IV Male & Mk.IV Female had individual track links, and each link was a multi-part affair. This turned off some (myself included) from building either kit. Modelers complained, and Takom listened, releasing a set of one-piece links. These were included in their Mk.IV Hermaphrodite kit. I would like to think that this kit contains those same one-piece track links, rather than the original multi-piece ones. Which would make this kit more attractive to those who were turned off by the work involved in assembling the original tracks. As a side note, except for one six-pounder barrel, the Hermaphrodite kit contained all of the parts necessary to build any of the three versions. Takom could have marketed that kit as a "3-in-1" if they had included the second barrel. Al

i agree the original multi piece tracks where awful, but the new click tracks are really nice. all of the new kits from takom have them, i would assume that this one has the click tracks. Takom learned their lesson and listened to us consumers!
