do anyone apply dark wash for desert camo?
big problem, when applying dark wash could in effect make the desert camo look "darker",ruin the whole paint job.
or don't apply it at all?

I think that you are confusing a wash, with a filter. I use a dark wash. However, for a filter you should use a few shades of lighter and darker base color.

In Operation Iraqi Freedom, thanks to all those oil well fires, many of the coalition vehicles took on a decidedly grubby look. If you're modelling a vehicle from that war, you can be justified adding a little extra darkness.
