France 1940? Matilda in this form doesn't fit here I'm afraid, not to speak the production of SdKfz 250 wasn't started before 1941...

For a model company Italeri doesn't seem to have any subject matter experts or enthusiasts: the Germans' shoulder belts are painted khaki. Then there's the SdKfz 250....

There weren't Leyland-engined Mk.IIs in France, there is a difference in the engine deck and exhausts. But this set is targeted to children anyway...

My first thought when I looked at the figures was "where is my saw?" Or I would find a way to incorporate the bases into the scene...
