I'm planning to build a new HMMWV model, this time something not very often seen: an HMMWV used for Psycological
Operations with an array of loudspeakers on the roof, such as the one below

I'm 3D designing the loudspeakers array and then I will print it at Shapeways.
Below is a draft of what the 3D design looks like at this stage.

Now there is a question for you all: is there anyone who has pictures of the back of the loudspeakers array and of the way the array is fixed to the turret ring ?
The pictures I've found searching the internet are not very clear about the back side.

Thanks

If I may make a suggestion, the springs you've modeled look too circular based on the picture. I'd make it more half-circular. Also based on the pictures from Piotr, the two middle springs look to be too far forward.

Thanks a lot Piotr, that is exactly what I was looking for.

Indeed what I see on the back is more complex that I thought.
Anyway I will take the challange and try to design the loudspeaker array as close as possible to the original, taking also into account the limitations of 3D printing technology.

Michael, I take your suggestion on the shape of springs; about the position of the central sprins they are actually backward but I agree that from the picture it is not
understandable.

Piotr, I can't find similar photos for the MCTAGS version that Live Resin sells. I need good photos of that mount so that I can finish my review of the turret with the speakers.
