Fast running out of the old Floquil Polly Scale Dust paint, 414305.
Is Testors Polly Scale Dust 052244443051 the same? I've noticed on the Testors Dust advertisement sometimes refers back to the old Floquiil number 414305.

Really confused.

I can't answer the question specifically for "Polly Scale" as these paints originally started as water soluble acrylics, but I can answer the question for "Floquil" colors which were laquer based paints. Testors has definitely changed the formulation for the Floquil colors, as they have a different smell, and go on differently-- without the old "barrier". However, I've found that the colors still have similar consistency, coverage and flow-- I especially like thier "old silver" which I think still looks as good as their original Floquil "old silver". I recommend you give the Testors version a try-- a single bottle doesn't cost that much, you might be surprised.
