These don't even come close to todays standard of quality figure sculpting ie: Stalingrad, Bravo 6 ect. Come on... look at those faces and hands!

And do you sculpt figures yourself? Its not like anyone else offers figures like this in the marketplace.

I think here the problems is more the paint then the casting/sculpture is nice the producer post the figurines painted but is also nice to see without,many time the painting style cover the real quality of the sculpture or viceversa and in this case i have the feeling is better without

Now all we need is a current day police car and some officers and we can do "gang riot in the inner city 202x" dioramas. These guys are only arabs because the box says so.

Ant miniatures do some FSB figures that look like the current western tactical officers, just swap the am for an m4, since American police seem to have a toured humvees and Mrap you could use one of them.

Forget the ANT FSB figures and use Airborne Miniatures SEAL DEVGRU figures, more Western tactical operator look/ kit. Live resin Ops Core helmets for variations.......

With police officers I was thinking more along the "T.J. Hooker" or "Dirk Mattes" lines, not SWAT and SEK.

The late 70s and the 80s had a number of great "cop shows". From CI5 to TJ Hooker and Hunter to Dempsey and Makepeace or Mike Hammer (and the Tatort or Grossstadtrevier in Germany) and quite a few more. They had a different feel than todays shows, a bit more "black and white" with some light humor in it. And yes, the heros always carried the day (Well, Stacy Sheridan and DeeDee McCall helped the ratings as well
)
